Exercise Physiology
At LHCH we have a treatment area where you can attend as both inpatient and outpatient to perform a range of exercise training including cardiovascular, strength/conditioning, and flexibility.
Regular exercise is important for people with Cystic Fibrosis as it:
- Helps maintain lung function, bone density, and muscle mass
- Improves shortness of breath, and physical and psychological wellbeing
- Assists with airway clearance
