Parking
There are more than 1,000 car parking spaces allocated around the hospital site.

A two tier car park is located at the main entrance of the hospital site for the benefit of patients, staff and visitors. A courtesy bus operates from this main car park which is fully wheelchair and patient friendly.

Parking charges
- Less than 30 minutes - free
- Up to 2 hours - £3.90
- Up to 4 hours - £4.90
- Up to 24 hours - £9.80

Blue Badge parking
Designated disabled spaces are provided around the hospital. There are some free disabled bays close to the main entrance. In the event that car parks for blue badge holders are full, it is recommended that drivers park in the main car park and use the courtesy bus service.
Please note that all staff, patients and visitors must park in authorised parking areas, including blue badge holders who must not park on double yellow lines. Failure to do this will result in a Civil Penalty Notice being issued.
Blue Badge holders may park free of charge. Automatic number plate recognition is in place, please park in a marked bay and display your badge.

Onsite Courtesy Bus for Patients, family members and visitors
A free Courtesy Bus is available from the main car park and runs to several stops across the site, including the shared main entrance, Holly Suite day ward entrance, and Outpatient Department entrance. The shuttle bus runs every 15 minutes, Monday to Friday, 8am–12.30pm and 1pm–5.15pm, stopping at entrances to the main buildings.
The courtesy bus is fitted with access and safety equipment, which includes a chair lift, seat belts and radio link to base.
We do advise that if you have any difficulty with mobility that you use the bus to take you to your destination across the hospital site.
