Liverpool Aortic Surgery Symposium (LASS)
The team at Liverpool have organised an international meeting every two years to discuss management of thoracic aortic aneurysms.
The latest (LASS 8) was held at the Echo Arena on 28 June 2019 (www.aorticaneurysm.org.uk). Specialists in all aspects of aortic aneurysm care attend from all over the world. See Aortic News Today and some photos from the event below.

Following a review we have recently been designated “Expert Centre for rare disease with thoracic aortic aneurysm and aortic dissection”
Paediatric and ACHD Services
We have a local ACHD Cardiologist (Dr Sajid Ahmed) and links with Alder Hey Children's Hospital.
