The Cardiac Diagnostic Department performs a wide range of cardiac diagnostic investigations. Please read the pages highlighted on the left hand column, for more information on implantable loop recorders, pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators.

Boston Scientific Advisory

We are aware of online information and publicity concerning the battery function of some Boston Scientific pacemakers and cardiac resynchronisation therapy (CRTP) devices.

Please note that our teams are currently in the process of reviewing all patients and prioritising them according to battery longevity.

Any patient who needs to attend an appointment in hospital for a software update to their device, will be contacted directly.
