BBC2 Hospital Returns

Label 1 Television and the BBC are delighted to be returning to Merseyside for series five of the award-winning documentary series Hospital. Filming across several Trusts in Liverpool, the programme returns to BBC Two this week.
Hospital continues to unveil the incredible work that goes on at some of the country’s largest NHS Trusts to ensure patients get the best possible care and the challenges and pressures they face at a time when the NHS continues to be under scrutiny.
The series has previously filmed at the Imperial College Healthcare Trust London and Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and last year, with six trusts in Liverpool.
Filming will concentrate on both clinical areas and patient stories and ‘behind the scenes’ – focusing on senior management and operational issues. Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital's clinical teams, including Mr Julius Asante-Siaw (pictured), will be featured extensively in the coming weeks.
