LHCH Awarded Elevate Education Business Partnership 2026 Patron Status

We are thrilled to announce that Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital (LHCH) has been awarded Elevate Education Business Partnership (EBP) 2026 Patron Status in recognition of our dedication to supporting young people across the Liverpool City Region.  This acknowledgement reflects our ongoing commitment to helping the next generation explore their career options and develop their key skills and confidence.

Elevate EBP is a social value organisation that brings together schools, colleges, universities, businesses, training providers and organisations to deliver high-quality careers education, enrichment and aspiration support and programmes. As a 2026 Patron, LHCH is proud to be a part of their impact and contribute to positive social change across the Liverpool City Region.

At LHCH, our team believe in the power of opportunity. Over the past year, we have partnered with Elevate EBP on various initiatives such as providing work experience placements, meet the professionals sessions, attending careers fairs and school events.  Our Learning and Development team who have these opportunities possible are pictured above.  Our team has been committed to helping young people gain valuable insights into the healthcare industry and providing them with the experiences and knowledge needed for a successful future.

Gill Ditchburn, CEO at Elevate Education Business Partnership, said: “At Elevate EBP, we’re proud to celebrate another year of social impact made possible by the passion and commitment of the thousands of businesses and organisations who work with us. It’s a real privilege to work alongside our growing network of inspiring individuals.

"In true ‘New Year’s Honours List’ style, we are delighted to award our 2026 Patron Status to the organisations and businesses who went above and beyond to support our work to ‘Transform Lives and Create Growth’ across the Liverpool City Region last year. All of our 2026 Patrons have been named as such for their dedication to high-quality careers support for young people and I can’t thank them enough for working with us here at the EBP.”

We are excited to continue working with Elevate EBP in 2026. Together, we can create even more opportunities for young people and support them in realising their potential.

If you are a local business interested in supporting Elevate EBP and making a positive social impact, we encourage you to get involved. Visit the Elevate EBP website for more information.
