Local Roadworks - Possible Delays
We have been informed that essential electrical cabling works will be undertaken on Queens Drive and Thomas Drive, involving lane closures and traffic controls outside the hospital site.
These extensive works will be carried out by the contractors in a staged way, beginning on Wednesday 23rd July. They are expected to be completed by Wednesday 5th November.
During this period, some travel disruption in the surrounding area of the hospital site (eg Broadgreen and Childwall) is inevitable with delays and queuing traffic anticipated.
Considerations:
-
Please allow extra journey time when attending appointments on the hospital site and/or when visiting relatives.
-
Please plan your journey accordingly.
-
To date, no public transport timetable changes or planned route changes have been planned.
