LHCH shortlisted for HSJ Patient Safety Awards 2023

LHCH is delighted to have been shortlisted as a finalist in the HSJ Patient Safety Awards 2023, in the category Patient Safety Education and Training. 

LHCH acknowledges international nurses possess many skills and have accumulated many nursing experience years prior to arriving in the UK.

The international nurse’s development programme is designed to further build their confidence and develop their next stages of their nursing careers within LHCH and the wider NHS.

LHCH recognises the importance of a diverse workforce, speaking and listening to our international nurse colleagues it was very important to them to be encouraged to develop into senior nursing roles within LHCH.

The programme promotes best practice in leadership and develops the training required to be successful in the diverse nursing roles.

The Awards take place on Monday 18th September in Manchester.
