Liverpool Live 2013

The third Liverpool Live Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy (CRT) Course is taking place on November 11th & 12th.  

The course, organised by Dr Archana Rao, Consultant Cardiologist at LHCH, is targeted at advanced device trainees, consultants, senior cardiac physiologists and specialist arrhythmia nurses.

It aims to provide such healthcare professionals with a strong introduction to advanced device therapy, with a particular emphasis on cardiac resynchronisation therapy.

During the course and alongside interactive workshops and practical lectures, three cases will be broadcast live from our Pacing Theatre here at LHCH to the conference delegates. 

Our consultants, along with guest implanters, will perform CRT device implants on three patients, which will be viewed live at the conference enabling delegates to comment and ask questions of the operators while the case is ongoing. 

This course is highly regarded within the world of CRT/heart failure. The complex nature of the cases highlights, once again, the skill and the expertise of the LHCH device team - cardiologists, cardiac physiologists and nursing staff.
