Celebrating NHS70 at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital

On 5th July 1948 the NHS was born and therefore this year marks the 70th birthday of the NHS - the nation's much loved institution.

Along with healthcare organisations across the country, Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital is celebrating this special birthday and as well as many LHCH staff sharing their thoughts on what the NHS means and why it is so well loved, others have recorded their own very special poetic birthday tribute (1min 30secs).

Click on the image below or on the Youtube link opposite to hear what they had to say.... Happy Birthday NHS!
