Training and Education
I graduated from the University of Liverpool with Honours in 2005, during my undergraduate years I spent time training in the Netherlands. I completed postgraduate training in Medicine and Cardiology in the Mersey Deanery during the period 2005-2017. In this time I completed a PhD in the management of patients with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy.
I undertook additional training in inherited cardiac conditions and Cardiac MRI during a fellowship at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London and have spent time in Inherited Cardiac Conditions services in Oxford and Copenhagen.
I deliver training in cardiomyopathy and sports cardiology for senior medical trainees and consultant colleagues along with many other non medical professions.
About you
I am married with 2 sons. Most of my hobbies now include fairly boring exercise but I was once half decent at tennis and football.
