David Flory CBE

Chair

David Flory CBE joined Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital as its new Chair, for a two-year term, on 1st April 2025.

David takes on the role alongside his existing role as Group Chair of NHS University Hospitals of Liverpool Group (UHLG). 

David has extensive board level experience as Chair, Chief Executive and Executive Director of NHS organisations in England and healthcare organisations internationally, including six years working as Deputy NHS Chief Executive and Director General in the Department of Health for England.
