Research Experience
Most of my recent research projects at LHCH are centered around cardiac MRI:
- “Protocol of MR Imaging for patients with non-conditional devices (MIND): a quaternary cardiothoracic centre experience”. Presented in Rapid fire abstracts- Miscellaneous II session. CMR 2024: The global conference, London, United Kingdom, 2024.
- “Cardiac manifestations in patients undergoing immunotherapy and chemotherapy: An evaluation on cardiac MRI”. Presented in Rapid fire abstracts- Miscellaneous II session. CMR 2024: The global conference, London, United Kingdom, 2024.
- “Assessment and prognostication of immunotherapy related adverse cardiovascular events with cardiac MRI”. Oral paper presentation. 109th Scientific assembly and Annual meeting of Radiological society of North America (RSNA), Chicago (USA), 2023.
I am part of a clinical trial (Moderna mRNA-0184 Ruby Trial) in collaboration with the LHCH Cardiology and Research departments.
My post graduate thesis research at VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, India, focused on ultrasound and MRI characterisation of BI-RADS 3 and 4 breast masses.
I had the opportunity and privilege to receive the RSNA 2021 Trainee Research Prize- Resident Award for oral paper presentation at 107th scientific meeting and Annual assembly of Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), Chicago, 2021, for my work in pediatric neuroradiology in India: “Role of shear wave elastography in assessment of hypoxic ischemic injury (HII) in preterm neonates”
I had also supervised the thesis work of a post-graduate trainee in VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, India, during my senior residency and our work in thoracic imaging - “Role of chest ultrasound in evaluation of patients presenting with respiratory distress in pediatric emergency” has been accepted at the 110th scientific meeting and Annual assembly of Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), Chicago, 2024.
Publications
I have 21 publications (first author in 16 of them), and have presented 27 posters and 12 oral presentations at various Indan and international conferences. I have also authored a chapter in Radiology (Multiple choice questions and answers) in the book “Review of AIIMS/ PGI/ JIPMER pattern, May 2017” targeted at doctors preparing for various post graduate medical entrance examinations in India.
