Lynne spoke of why she wanted to be a Governor for LHCH:

"As a Governor for LHCH I would like to make a contribution to the ongoing work and development of this outstanding hospital and helping it to remain at the forefront of patient care and research. Like countless others, I have benefitted first hand from the expertise of LHCH and as a consequence believe very strongly that, wherever possible, its services should be available to those who need them, regardless of where they live."
