Jonathan Mathews

Executive Managing Director

Jonathan is a senior NHS leader, with significant board level experience having worked at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital as Chief Operating Officer for three years and as Deputy Chief Executive since March 2024.

Prior to this, Jonathan had been Deputy Chief Operating Officer and Divisional Head of Operations for Medicine at LHCH.  

Jonathan was appointed Executive Managing Director for Liverpool Heart and Chest and Broadgreen Hospitals in August 2025.
