About Dr Griffiths
Mark began his clinical career in 1998 and has a long history of working within the areas of clinical health psychology and clinical neuropsychology. Since doctoral completion in 2002, Mark’s career has seen him working across a variety of clinical areas, including the following:
- Stroke & dementia rehabilitation
- Brain injury rehabilitation
- Cardiac rehabilitation
- Pain management
- Medically unexplained symptoms management
- Chronic illness & long-term physical condition care: including across cardiac and cardiovascular disease, respiratory and long covid disease, diabetes, renal disease, medically unexplained symptoms and other clinical specialties
Mark has a long track record of clinical service innovation and of developing and leading specialist hospital and community services; and also, of supporting clinical pathway re-design and improvement (at regional and national levels).
He joined Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital in January 2020 as the Consultant Lead for Psychology Services.
