Privacy notice for Clinical Service Evaluations
The hospital regularly carries out clinical service evaluations which are designed to look at the clinical care given to our patients and their outcomes. Current and future care or care given in the past may be looked at.
Access to confidential patient information used during these evaluations will be restricted to hospital care teams that have a legitimate and authorised reason to access this information. No confidential information that can identify any individual patients will be disclosed outside the hospital as part of the evaluation process.
This helps us to maintain patient safety and also give the best quality of care. It also contributes to the improvement of health and care services to support the very best patient experience.
This non-identifiable information may be used for reporting and presentation purposes.
