The MDT
The multi-disciplinary team meeting is the hub of scrutiny of patients channelled through Liverpool Cardiovascular Surgery.
There are selected patients undergoing EVAR for AAA pathologies who require CABG, TAVI or proximal cardiovascular surgery, however the central workflow are the patients with borderline health status whose treatment modality is unclear: open surgery, endovascular or best medical (LINK).
