Exercise Physiology
The Exercise Physiology team assist in the delivery of exercise training and counselling as part of the rehabilitation of both cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases. This involves working within both hospital and community based services.
The team provides the following services within the Therapies Department:
• Delivery of the exercise component of cardiac rehabilitation for The Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospital.
• Exercise testing, training and education for the hospital and community based pulmonary rehabilitation programme delivered across Liverpool.
• Inpatient and outpatient exercise therapy for patients with Cystic Fibrosis and other specialist referrals.
