LHCH Outstanding Awards 2019

Congratulations to all the nominees of this year’s ‘Best of the Best’ LHCH Outstanding Awards 2019.  All the winning and highly commended individuals/teams were presented with their awards at our annual awards event on Friday 29th November as follows: 

Excellent, Efficient, Compassionate and Safe Gold Awards

There were nine EECS awards presented to Birch Ward, Cedar Ward, Cardiac Diagnostics, Elm Ward, Medical Engineering, Therapies, Outpatients, Pharmacy and Pulmonary Function.

Compassion in Care Award sponsored by Medirest – presented to Elm Ward.

Innovation of the Year Award sponsored by Innovation Agency – presented to joint winners Julie Tyrer, Consultant Nurse – Tissue Viability and the Motor Evoked Potentials Team.

Significant Impact on Patient Safety Award
