Heart Rhythm Week 2014

Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital will be hosting a series of events as part of this year’s Arrhythmia Alliance Heart Rhythm Week (2-8 June 2014), to raise awareness and promote better understanding of heart rhythm disorders (cardiac arrhythmias).

Taking place at locations across Knowsley, the hospital’s Knowsley Community Cardiovascular (CVD) Team will join hundreds of others across the country celebrating Heart Rhythm Week; promoting this year’s theme ‘celebrating ten years of innovation and advancements in arrhythmia patient care.’

Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital is the largest single site specialist heart and chest hospital in the country, providing services in cardiothoracic surgery, cardiology, respiratory medicine including adult cystic fibrosis and diagnostic imaging.

The Knowsley Community CVD Team will be raising awareness and promoting a better understanding of heart rhythm disorders at the following locations throughout the week:

  • Monday 2nd June from 1-4.30pm at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, Main Reception 
  • Tuesday 3rd June from 9.30am-12.30pm at Halewood Primary Care Resource Centre, Roseheath Drive, Halewood, L26 9UH 
  • Wednesday 4th June from 9.30am-12.30pm at Old Colliery Road, Whiston, L35 3SX 
  • Thursday 5th June from 9.30am-12.30pm at The Blue Bell Centre, Blue Bell Lane, Huyton, L36 7XY 
  • Friday 6th June from 1-4.30pm at St Chads Health Centre, St Chads Drive, Kirkby, L32 8RE
