Our Radiology and Imaging Team
We are a recognised cardiothoracic imaging training site in the Health Education England North West School of Radiology Training Scheme with regular placements of specialty registrars from the North West of England as well as North Wales.
In addition, the Team has an on-going Clinical Fellowship programme in Radiology which supports the training of senior trainees and junior consultants both nationally and internationally.
LHCH Radiology Department is an EACVI accredited CMR laboratory in all three categories.
Also, the department is one of the host centres for the subspecialty training programmes of the European School of Radiology (ESOR)
The department has a few slots a year for clinical attachment applications (medical students, junior doctors, overseas doctors), including honorary fellow placements.
