Mark Jackson, Director of Research and Innovation
Mark is the Director of Research and Innovation at LHCH.
He was previously Associate Director for Quality Improvement from December 2006 until January 2012, before taking up the role of Director of Research and Informatics.
Mark has held a number of positions during his 18 year career at the Hospital, including Clinical Audit Coordinator, Research, Audit and Effectiveness Manager and Head of Clinical Governance.
Mark is also the national lead for the pilot of patient reported outcome measures (PROMS) in elective revascularisation.
His experience includes:
- Research position at Loughborough University and Groby Road Hospital, Leicester in adult cardiology.
- Research positions at the University of Liverpool in paediatric cardiology and statistics.
Mark's qualifications include:

- PhD Cardiology & Computing
