About Peter
After retiring from a career in the photographic industry Peter took a completely different direction in life and retrained in the Hospitality and Catering sector. After having gained his PGCE he now works in education at a local college within the Hospitality department.
Peter spoke about why he wanted to become a Governor at LHCH:
“My involvement with LHCH started as a patient in 2015. From this association I realised the importance of regional specialist hospitals such as LHCH, where the standard of care and procedures coupled with progressive research and development are vital to the local community and beyond.
These points and the fact that North Wales has always had strong links with Merseyside; economically, socially, and culturally, motivated me to apply for a post as a Governor at the hospital. Taking on this role will help me understand and hopefully develop and maintain the intricacies and the essential role that LHCH has within our communities and lives of its people”.
