The Council of Governors comprises 25 governors. In addition to the elected public and staff governors, legislation requires that the Council of Governors has appointed representatives from key stakeholders, such as the local authority. There is no difference in the responsibilities of an elected and a nominated Governor. The Chair of the Board of Directors is also the Chair of the Council of Governors.
