Coronavirus Information for Patients and Visitors
For those patients who are waiting for treatment, we want to assure you that our clinical teams regularly assess all patients waiting for treatment, to ensure patients are prioritised in terms of their clinical urgency. Our clinical teams will be in touch with you personally as soon as possible to keep you updated regarding your treatment.
We are also working hard to ensure you are kept safe during your stay at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. More information on how we are keeping patients and staff safe is available here.

- Some appointments at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital are by telephone or video consultation. There are situations where face to face consultation will be required and your clinical team will advise you.
- If you have been informed by either your consultant or secretary that you should attend face to face then you should.
- If your appointment is by telephone or video consultation, a scheduled appointment time will be given to you. We will call you and aim to ensure you are contacted as close to your scheduled appointment time as possible.
