I undertook specialist training in cardiac electrophysiology and complex catheter ablation at a number of world renowned cardiac arrhythmia centres. I spent one year at the pioneering cardiac arrhythmia unit in Bordeaux, France (Hôpital Haut-Lévêque with Professors Haissaguerre and Jais). A further year was spent at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, which is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School.

I have also previously undertaken a two-year postdoctoral research fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. My areas of research include catheter ablation of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias and genetics of arrhythmia syndromes.
