Biography:

Trained in medicine and subsequently in Paediatrics in New Delhi, followed by specialist training in Congenital Cardiology in New Delhi, London, Bristol, Cardiff and Milan. Undertook research on benefits of exercise in adult congenital heart disease. Appointed Consultant in 2009. Involved in management of congenital heart disease from children to adults. Current practice includes Manchester Heart Centre, Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Royal Liverpool Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital, Manchester.

About/Why LHCH:

I am passionate about caring for patients with congenital heart disease of all ages. I feel priviliged to work in Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, a cardio-thoracic centre of  international repute and oustanding in patient centered clinical care. A self-styled techonology afficiando, outside work, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling, photography, cooking (different cuisines), cricket, table tennis and badminton.
