Patients needing specialist heart surgery can be confident they are receiving the very best care at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital – once again the Trust has been confirmed as the top performing hospital in the North West.
In the Advancing Quality results published today, the Trust received the highest scores for heart bypass surgery (99.89%), heart failure care (94.46%) and heart attack treatment (99.99%).
This comes after the Trust’s own satisfaction survey showed that 100% of patients would recommend the hospital to their family and friends with 91% saying the care they received exceeded their expectations.
